Holiday Day and Night Makeup Looks


Happy Holidays, Friends! Today I'm going to  share with you simple day and night makeup looks perfect for the festivities! The daytime eye makeup look is so versatile that it can make you alternate between bold or nude shades! Green eye shadow has been seen lately on YouTube gurus lately and I'm dying to wear a shade that steers away from my usual neutral look! So, please read on if you want to learn more! :)


Daytime Look

Steps:
  1. Prime your eyes. Then apply brown shadow on the crease and blend. 
  2. Apply a soft peach shade on your lids.
  3. Apply a soft pink highlighter on your brow bone.
  4. Apply a thin line of black liner on your lash line.
  5. Apply a flesh-toned eyeliner. Curl your lashes and apply mascara!

L.A. Colors Eyeliner/Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown
White Rain Extra Hold Hairspray

Eyes: 
E.L.F. Eye Primer
The powder found in Benefit Brow Zings in Dark Brown 
Sansan Make-up Set in 02, the champagne shade
In2It Eyeshadow Quad in Pink Alert (Black shade, used water and a liner brush for liquid liner)
Nichido Minerals Concealer in Beige
Maybelline Turbo Volume Express Mascara in Very Black

Face:

Palladio Rice Powder in Nude
Sansan Sansan Make-up Set in 02, the highlighter blush shade

Lip Color ideas:


  • If you're bold enough, go for the color Red: Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in 090 True Red
  • If you're low-key, a swipe of Nude gloss shall do the trick: In2It Twister Lipgloss in LTG 16 Vegas
  • If you still want to look sweet, go for a Mauve/Pink color!: NYX Round Lipstick in B52


Nighttime Look

Finally, you can have an excuse to wear green! It really complements brown eyes :)



Steps:
  1. Prime your eyelids.
  2. Apply a green eye shadow/eyeliner as your base.
  3. Apply black eye shadow on your crease and blend with a brown eye shadow.
  4. Apply a green eye shadow on your lids
  5. Blend colors to have a smooth transition.
  6. Use your own powder foundation shade to highlight your brow bone.
  7. Apply a thin layer of eyeliner on your lash line.
  8. Apply a brown eyeliner on your waterline and lower lash line. Set your lower lash line with a brown eye shadow.
  9. Curl your lashes and apply mascara!
