NYE Makeup Tutorial

2013 is about to end and the upcoming year is another chance to start anew. End the year with a bang and welcome the new year with a glamorous makeup look!

I wanted this look to have warm tones and glitters. You can also use other colors like warm pinks or something cooler with silver and blue shades. I opted for the classic brown and taupe since I wanted to complement my dark hair.

Steps:
1. Place a dark brown eyeliner at the outer V of your eye lids. Fill in a third of your eyes.
2. Fill the rest of the lid with a taupe eyeliner. Blend the colors together for a smooth transition.
3. Using a clean blending brush, blend out the colors.
4. Start blending a black eye shadow on your crease.
5. Blend out the black eye shadow with a warm brown shade.
6. Highlight your brows with a shadow close to your skin color. Or better yet, just use your powder foundation. This is also used to blend out the colors.
7. Pat a glitter shadow on your entire lid. Gently pat on your eyelids to avoid fall-out.
8. Line your upper lash line and water line with a black eyeliner. Curl your lashes and apply mascara! You can also place false lashes for a dramatic look.

I just kept the rest of my face matte and contoured with a warm, matte bronzer. I kept the lips nude in order to keep focus on the eyes.
